Senator Cotton Endorses Joshua Bryant

Rogers, Arkansas (February 14, 2022) - U.S. Senator Tom Cotton Endorses Rep. Joshua Bryant for State Senate District 32

In a statement endorsing Representative Joshua Bryant’s campaign, Senator Tom Cotton said, “Joshua Bryant served as a Marine and is now fighting for our conservative values in Little Rock. When President Biden pushed unconstitutional mandates, Representative Bryant fought back and protected Arkansas. I fully endorse Joshua Bryant so he can continue that courageous leadership in the Arkansas Senate.”

“I’m honored to have the endorsement of Senator Cotton,” said Bryant. “He is a powerful voice for our state in Congress, and he understands what is at stake for our country right now. As veterans and elected officials, we share a dedication to public service, and as conservatives we both believe in fighting for liberty, limited government, and the Constitution. I thank Senator Cotton for his support in this campaign.”

Joshua Bryant is a Republican candidate for State Senate District 32. He is a Marine Corps veteran, a business owner, and is currently in his first term in the Arkansas House of Representatives.

Rep. Bryant's Act 1113 Becomes Law

On January 14, 2022, Act 1113 became law. Rep. Joshua Bryant was the lead sponsor of the law, which allows for exemptions from President Biden’s overreaching federal mandate on COVID-19 vaccinations. It allows workers the option to test weekly or show natural immunity to the virus. Read the bill here.

“I’m thankful the U.S. Supreme Court struck down President Biden’s vaccination mandate and called it what it was, a massive overreaching power grab. Now more than ever, it is important to have state leaders who are willing to stand up to the extreme left’s assault on our freedom and liberties,” stated Bryant. “Act 1113 shows the citizens of District 32 they can rest assured I won’t sit on the sideline while their rights are attacked by the radicals in Washington, D.C.”

Rep. Joshua Bryant Announces Run for State Senate

Rogers, Arkansas (November 5, 2021) - Representative Joshua Bryant announced today his campaign for Senate District 32. The district covers eastern Benton County and part of northeastern Washington County. A small business owner and Marine Corps veteran, Rep. Bryant was elected to the Arkansas House of Representatives in 2020, where he took on the Little Rock establishment and stood strongly for conservative principles.

"I didn't go to Little Rock for a paycheck or to make friends with lobbyists and special interests. I went to represent the people who elected me, to fight for their constitutional rights and to make state government work for them," said Bryant. "I passed legislation that expanded 2nd Amendment rights in Arkansas, and I passed the Earn and Learn Act, which allows Arkansans to learn on the job and apprentice while earning a paycheck, removing barriers by the state that prevented people from working and providing for their families.

"When President Biden issued his unconstitutional executive order mandating vaccines for private businesses with 100 employees or more, I filed legislation to protect Arkansans from having to choose between their conscience and their livelihood. Though the Legislature did not take all the steps I thought were necessary to counter Biden's federal government overreach, we did pass my bill to require exemptions from the federal mandate. I didn't cower to the Left or big business special interests; I stood for my constituents, for hard-working people who want to keep their job without being forced to sacrifice their rights and freedoms.

"We cannot afford to sit back and leave the hard work to others. I have never shied away from a fight and doing my part for my country. I've served in uniform as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps, I served my community locally as a Benton County Justice of the Peace, and I've been honored to serve as a Representative in Little Rock. My priorities have never changed: God, Family, and Country. I promise to take those values and our shared conservative principles with me as I earn your vote to be your voice in the Arkansas Senate."
